What sizes are the cookies?

This depends on the type of cookie you order. My drop cookies, chocolate chip, espresso, and round sugar cookies are all 4-5 inches across and considered large. My shaped, decorated sugar cookies are in a variety of sizes. For the majority of orders all cookies average a 3 inch range, some cutouts depending on design choice average 3-5inches.

When will I receive my order?

I would like you to order as soon as you know you will need cookies. My policy states that orders must be placed 14 days before the event. If I am required to cancel your order due to life events, or my inability to fulfill it, you will get a full refund at the time of cancelation. Major holidays can affect order dates, so please be aware of any holidays coming up before placing custom orders. Drop cookies can be ordered at any time and typically will be sent out or delivered in 3-5 days. So please take that into account when ordering.

What about shipping times and cost?

These goods are all handmade, hand decorated, and hand packaged. Turnaround time will be longer than a store-bought item. The quality of the ingredients and the time and love put into each cookie outweigh the waiting. Unless a rush order is necessary, shipped goods will be shipped once a month, typically between the 8th and 16th. The majority of packages arrive within the week of being shipped and I will always strive to make shipping the cheapest possible. I can and will issue refunds of shipping costs if shipping is cheaper than stated at the time of purchase.

What about deliveries and drop-offs?

After you place your order, expect there to be a 3-5 day turnaround on drop cookies and up to 2 weeks for decorated cookies. I will strive to get your order to you as quickly as possible. For deliveries it is best to communicate your delivery needs to me via the available contact form, or through my Facebook business page. Returning customers can expect that I will reach out to you to set up a delivery time and location.

How are the cookies packaged?

I package my decorated sugar cookies in individual heat-sealed bags. This is to maintain the upmost freshness and protect the design elements. Decorated cookies are delivered in a box that matches the size of the order. Drop cookies are packaged in bags of 6 stacked cookies. Packaging changes can be made at an additional charge of 25 cents per individual bag.

How do I care for my cookies?

Cookies can be ordered well in advance and kept frozen until the date of the event. Decorated sugar cookies need to be kept in their individual bags, put into an air-tight container and into the freezer for up to 3 months! The trick is when you take the cookies out. Leave them in the container, and set them at room temperature for 3-6 hours or overnight. Then you can open them. This prevents condensation from forming on the inside of the bags, which would lead to your designs getting smudged. KazClaw Designs LLC is not responsible for cookies smudging due to improper handling once the cookies are in your care. Drop cookies can also be frozen and can even become chewier when unfrozen again. Cookies that are heat-sealed and left unopened have a shelf-life of 2-4 weeks at room temperature. NEVER put your cookies in the refrigerator.

What about allergies?
